Terms of Service

By accessing or using yap.fun (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You represent that you are not located in, or a citizen or resident of, any country or region subject to sanctions or where use of the Service is prohibited by applicable law.

yap.fun is a non-custodial interface that helps you interact with on-chain trading and yield protocols on the Base network. All transactions are executed by you, from a wallet you control, via smart contracts deployed by third parties. We do not take custody of your assets at any time. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Digital assets are volatile and high-risk. Smart contracts may contain bugs. Transactions on a blockchain are irreversible. You may lose some or all of your funds. You are solely responsible for any trade you place, any token you swap into, any yield strategy you enter, and any tax consequences that result. You agree to assume these risks fully.

You are responsible for securing your wallet, your private keys, and any credentials you use to access the Service. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful activity, market manipulation, money laundering, or to evade sanctions. You will not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or scrape the Service.

The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (wallet providers, RPC nodes, decentralized exchanges, yield protocols, data providers). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you interact with them through us.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, yap.fun and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or digital assets, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless yap.fun and its operators from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of yap.fun is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
