Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information yap.fun (the “Service”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the yap.fun website and any related interfaces we operate.

We try to keep what we collect to the minimum needed to run the Service. That typically includes:

• Wallet address. Your public blockchain address when you connect a wallet. This is public information on the chain.
• Account identifier. A pseudonymous user identifier issued by our authentication provider when you sign in.
• Voice input. Audio you speak to the in-app agent is transcribed and sent to language and speech providers to generate a response. Transcripts are processed in memory for the duration of your session and are not retained as recordings by us.
• Usage data. Trades, swaps, deposits, withdraws, and similar actions you take through the Service, along with timestamps. We use this to operate the product, prevent abuse, and produce aggregate analytics.
• Technical data. Standard request metadata such as IP address, browser type, and approximate location, used for security, rate-limiting, and debugging.

• To provide and maintain the Service.
• To execute the on-chain actions you request.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To produce aggregate, de-identified analytics that help us improve the product.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Service, including:

• Authentication and wallet infrastructure providers.
• Speech, transcription, and language model providers used by the in-app agent.
• Real-time audio and video infrastructure used to connect you to the agent.
• Hosting, analytics, and security providers.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of yap.fun, our users, or the public.

Transactions you execute via yap.fun are recorded on public blockchains and are visible to anyone. We cannot delete, alter, or hide on-chain data.

We retain account-linked usage data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, audit, and security requirements. Aggregated and de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for securing your wallet and credentials.

You can disconnect your wallet, stop using the Service, or request deletion of account-linked data at any time by writing to hello@yap.fun. On-chain records cannot be deleted.

The Service is not directed to children under eighteen and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted in the Service.
